Linebergers was really good great fish great steak I couldnt say this when they first opened now there definitely the best in town they made a complete turn around and there salt and peppered fish is so good if you haven't tried it but once you should go back a try one last time and tell me it is good

Lineberger's has "reopened." They have some fairly big issues to deal with before becoming a mainstay. I paid $14.95 for a two way combination of filet of flounder and green shrimp. I received a handful of shrimp and two pieces of flounder. Now if you eat in, you are able to make a salad to go with your meal. This order was to-go and I had to pay .32 ounce for a salad to go. That brought my meal up to $16.95!!! One evening I had a two way combination with filet of flounder and deviled crab. I got home and had 1 deviled crab and two pieces of flounder. The price was a little cheaper because they evidently have an "up charge" for certain items on a combination plate and crab isn't one of those (green shrimp evidently is though). Portion sizes seem to be a little more generous if you are eating in house. While ordering they bring out a tray of 6 hushpuppies. I saw a family of 4 receive the same portion. They really need to get a handle on portion and cost. Currently they are opened 11-9 seven days a week. I'm afraid they are charging extra to make up for the slower days.

I don't know where you people went to be disappointed with the portion size ?????? We just had take out and for $27.00 had enough fish for four people. It was fried, lightly battered and Sooo good!!! No oily taste. The baked potatoes were the best and we received enough condiments to have for another full meal. The coleslaw was about the best I have ever tasted! Will we go back?~Many times!! Glad you are back Linebergers!!!

My cousin and I ordered the Flounder Dinner. We received Tilapia Fish instead...We reported it to our waitress and then she got the manager for us. They were trying to convince us that we had the right fish (Flounder).. We were not offered our money back or another dinner of the RIGHT DINNER. Not To mention the portion size was horrible!!!! WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING IN THE FUTURE.

Very dissapointed with the portion size. A take out order of green shrimp(whole order) was very small. You can get twice as much at Firehouse or Twin Tops. Grew up eating a Linebergers but don't see us going back.

baked potato and hush puppies. Butter and sour cream salt & pepper on our baked potao had it bumping! They have a store up there like the old Linbergers had. A very friendly lady Ms. Gail runs the desk at candy store with a nice selection of sweet goodies.
