      CaroMont Heart is an independent, nonprofit health care system, operating through a more than 400-bed Gaston Memorial Hospital in North Carolina. The organization s heart center provides a full range of life-saving cardiac care, including open-heart surgery. Its comprehensive cancer center provides advanced 3-D radiation treatment planning and chemotherapy. The organization s occupational medicine division offers various services, including drug and alcohol screenings, comprehensive occupational health care, workers' compensation injuries and illnesses, employment and medical surveillance examinations, audiometry, spirometry, X-ray, quantitative respirator fit testing and international travel consultation.
