Love these guys. I have recently had to replace our heating and air system in our home. I called stephenson's they were very knowledgable. The salesman that came out was very nice and walked me through the entire process. Had a great experience. Thanks again Stephenson

First off, I was weary of calling Stephenson Heating & Air because I read some of these bad reviews but they were the first person who could see us so I had to go with them.
I have NEVER been so satisfied with my service in my entire life. I am a young, single mom and my child's bedroom was ridiculously hot being upstairs in our home. My thermostat would say it was 72 degrees but it always felt like 110! Stephenson's came out and the service tech was so nice to me and even spoke to my daughter. I showed him the problem and he went right to work. He had to run back out to get parts and was back in less than an hour. He fixed my unit upstairs and even gave me the business after hours call line number in case it we have any more problems. The price was much less than my friends with the same issue when another company came to their house and the main thing I liked was when I called Stephenson's, I got to speak with the owner so I know this is a family business with good morals! They get an A+ in my book. I would recommend over and over again and will never call any where else. THANK YOU STEPHENSON HEATING AND AIR!

WORST SERVICE!!! I had them come out and they said I needed to replace a coil, and it would take 2 weeks!!! Its 100 degrees outside, so I asked if the could do something to get it to work until they came back. They said no. An hour after they left I noticed the system was still on, blowing out hot air, so the temperature upstairs went from 80 to 90 degrees in an hour. I called them back, told them the technician that came out did something, because I couldnt even turn it off. The horrible receptionist told me to cut it off at the breaker and they would be out in 2 weeks. That I needed to keep the system off and it was my fault that it was broke in the first place and there was absolutely nothing they could do to help us until the coil was replaced. After a week in the heat, I decided to get a second opinion, I called the new company at 4 in the afternoon they came the next day at 9am, told me that a fuse was out and thats why my AC wasnt cooling, didnt charge me a thing!!! Also the tech said they had to blow the fuse while they were here if it kept running and they should of come back out and known that a fuse was blown! They also agreed to replace the coil 3 business days later when the part comes in for $100 less than Stephensons!! Again Stephenson was horrible, they didnt try to fix it, and charged me for their horrible service. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!! You will be ripped off and probably hot. You may see them of WRAL 5 on your side because I feel that companies like this should be put out of business!

I had a 4 ton Heating and air system that went down. I called Stephenson because they had done other work and I knew there name.
They charges me $125 and could not find the problem. Called the next guy and he found it in about 5 minutes. Wow read the reviews folks this company is not a keeper.

I called them because my unit stopped working. They responded within a short period of time. They misdiagnosed the problem and on top of that, they charged me several hundred dollars for a $40.00 (very conservative estimate from a knowledgeable source) part and a $85.00 service charge. I called someone when my unit failed to work and they walked me through diagnosing the problem in a matter of minutes (in the same area the service tech had replaced the part – in plain view!). I went to the local heating and air conditioning parts store, paid $9.00 for the replacement part and there are no more problems. I do not recommend anyone that has no experience with electricity to do, but it was an obvious and quick fix.
I was very disappointed with the cost of the repair and I felt it was extremely excessive at the time. I have since confirmed my feelings and I will not call them again.
