If you love your pet DO NOT TAKE THEM near this place!!!

I originally signed up for a pet plan in order to get my dog's teeth cleaned. since I have substandard service since!! The service techs aren't pet friendly at all!! My dog is a people dog and she hates everybody there to include the vets!!

On the day of her dental cleaning I called them around 1:30 pm assuming that they had at least started, no. When I asked the tech answered the phone she informed me that the procedure hadn't even been started. I had to make arrangements with work to pick her up at the time I was told, well since they hadn't even started I was going to have to change my arrangements, when I asked the tech what was going on, when I could get my dog I was told ""I don't know!"". I then asked to talk to someone that did know, I was told someone would call me when they knew something...

I told her that was unacceptable and I needed to speak to someone that could tell me what was going on, she just repeated herself!!

To top it all off, while they weren't doing anything with my dog they let her sit in a cage for hours without taking her out to go to the bathroom, the kicker here is I just took her to the same vet for a urinary track infection!! How stupid can you be!!

I have approximately 5 to 6 months left on my pet plan that I have signed a contract for that I refuse to use! I will have to pay the remaining balance on the contract but I will take her to her old vet. Chalk it up to a lose before I loose my dog for good, they just don't care!!

Worst Place Ever

I thought I was doing my research by checking out the office and getting details on the plans before purchasing. At first glace it all sounded great. I made an appointment for my pets to get one shot, during that visit my opinion drastically changed. Before the appointment I had decided to purchase a plan for each pet. After checking in at the front desk I waited in the exam room for over 45 minutes before a Vet Tech even showed up (this is for a scheduled appt). Then they wanted to do their ""process of tests"" on both dogs then. All I wanted was a kennel cough vaccine. At the time they were 5 months premature for their yearly vaccines, so I was shocked when they wanted to give it to them then. I refused and said I'd bring them back when their annual shots were due.
Since that visit I've been there 3 times, each time I have to wait for a while just to get check-in/out. Then they gave me the wrong dosage of flea/tick med. I didn't notice this until a few days later. So I thought, well this should be an easy fix. I go back to the store and tell them that a staff memeber has given me the wrong dose and I'd just like to get that fixed. I wait.. I wait and I wait some more. Come to find out they don't sell the brand anymore (mind you this is 6 days after I purchased it) and don't know how to refund me. This struck me as clearly disfunctional that I was given the wrong stuff by a staff memeber and they can't fix it. I was there for 45 minutes before they offered a resolution. During the 45 minutes, I was in line, the girl working the desk put me on hold and took care of the 3 customers behind me and then when I was the only person there she goes to the back to get someone out to help me... Seriously now, how completely backward is this? If she was not capable of handling my situation, does it make sense to wait until I've been there for 40 minutes before getting help???
I couldn't help but laugh as I walked out of the store... because Petsmart had a center aisle stand selling the very brand that Banfield said they no longer sold. I know they aren't the same business but COME ON...

I would NEVER recommend this Banfield to anyone. I doubt that I'll ever go to one again.
