At first, finding the right fit to help my son Simon learn better focus, was a challenge. My wife hit the jackpot with Mu Do Martial Arts. The Masters are kind, sensitive yet firm with their students. Grand Master Park is also funny and yet he is qualified in many different types of martial arts. I saw him in action last week during an exhibition/testing for belt advancement. I was so impressed and pleased that my wife found this place. It is just what my boy needs. They teach first and foremost the respect and love that should be given to parents and school. His positive attitude is a way of life. I like his comment about smiling. Smile and you will feel better. You choose to be happy. It is also conveniently located off Beltline in Garland and close to home. We are looking forward to a long relationship. I give more than 5 stars!
My daughter is 6 years old and is in the little tiger's class. She LOVES coming to class each week! She has been practicing for a year now and has already learned so much.
Hi! i have been at Mu Do Martial Arts training in a fun, and safe enviroment for seaven years! Unlike most other places I've seen we're actually very practical. A little Olympic style oriented. But for the most part we're more Traditionally oriented and more focused on real Self-Denfence. So for the most part I would at least encourage you to come on wednesday or thursday to see us spar @ 7:30pm.
My son is in the tiger classes. He used to be full of wanton energy. He has learned focus and discipline and has had so much fun doing it. I loved the program so much that I joined the kickboxing classes. It has become a real family affair. The classes have changed our family and enhanced our family relationships. I love it.
