GTM Plastics opened its doors in 1964 as Garland Tooling and Machining in Garland Texas, under the leadership of Robert L. Morphis and Charles Killion. In 1965, GTM molded its first plastic parts and has evolved to produce more than 50 million parts each year. The company s services consist of thermoplastic injection molding, domestic and foreign tool-making, turnkey assembly and packaging fulfillment. A 70,000-square-foot facility with centralized material conveying and drying, to overhead cranes and cellular mold storage, GTM is a high mix job shop environment employing LEAN manufacturing principles at all levels of the operation. GTM Plastics is a privately held company that is located in Garland.
