Couch Elementary School offers a kindergarten through fifth grade program with a preschool program for children with disabilities unit. Located in Garland, Texas, the school educates more than 800 students. It provides bilingual and English as a Second Language programs. Couch Elementary School offers a variety of special education and foreign language classes. The school organizes PTA meetings, parent involvement weeks and awards ceremonies. It has a media center that houses a range of encyclopedias, picture dictionaries, textbooks, puzzles, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. Couch Elementary School is a part of the Garland Independent School District, which serves approximately 60,000 students.
