      General Info
      Operational for more than 30 years, the Achievement Center of Texas is a nonprofit facility that provides day care services and serves over 140 students daily. It also offers day habilitation, educational assistance and community inclusion for children and adults with special needs. The center s facilities include a library, laboratory and nurses station. The Achievement Center of Texas offers a range of programs that link parents with other agencies to provide additional support to families with gifted children and adults. It also offers transportation and communication services and organizes recreational activities, including shopping and movies. The center additionally provides a range of training programs that includes behavior management, building self-confidence, and parent support and advocacy. The Achievement Center of Texas is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. It is located in Garland, Texas.
