Starting with our grandfather and his creative ideas, the love of working with people, opened a paint store in Winchendon from 1933 to 1935. This ambition was a stepping stone to a successful family business which then evolved in 1935. Hamel & Sons is now a reputable painting company serving the New England area. 80 years ago, this business, being started by our grandfather, has been passed down from father to son ever since.
