Located in Gardner, Kan., Wheatridge Middle School serves more than 500 students in grades six through eight. The school offers a variety of academic programs in English and language arts, mathematics, sciences, social science and economics. Additionally, it offers classes in technology and family and consumer science. The school has a counseling center and a library that provides resources, such as books, journals and magazines and Internet access. Wheatridge Middle School also offers programs in health and physical education. Its athletics department offers various sports activities, such as tennis, football, soccer, basketball, golf and baseball. The school provides a range of multicultural activities and offers counseling and career programs to students. Wheatridge Middle School is a part of the Gardner Edgerton School District.
