General Info

Office:We have practiced in Garden City since 1982. Our office consists of my wife Karen and myself. We have very relaxed and friendly atmosphere in our family care clinic. We don't schedule multiple appointments on your first visit like many clinics pressure you to do. Instead we base your individualized care and appointments on how you have responded to the previous visit. Most of our patients are released from care within just a few visits. Personal Info:I was born in Hutchinson, Kansas and moved to Garden City in 1963. I am an Army Veteran with one tour in Viet Nam. In 1972 I was married to a local girl named Karen Bonebrake. Our family consists of daughter Dena and her husband Jeff and their children Jacobi, Dagen and Jesi and son Kory and his wife Ann and their children Brooklyn and Braxton. I was called of God to be a Christian in 1972 and a Chiropractor in 1977. Education: I graduated from Garden City High school as well as the Community College where I held pole vaulting records. My professional education was at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where I graduated with honors. Both Karen and I participated for a year in an off campus intern program for additional training and office management at a Chiropractic clinic in Davenport. I took numerous off campus seminars for additional training in x-ray diagnosis, Extremity Adjusting, SOT and Applied Kinesiology as well as four advanced seminars in the Gonstead Technique in Wisconsin. Upon graduation I spent two years in Dodge City in a post graduate associate position at the Stout Chiropractic clinic. Financial: In 2015 we became a discounted cash only practice to fight mismanaged health care which is concerned about you paying them and them managing the doctor's care for you. We lowered our fees to help make our services affordable for everyone. We are especially appealing to those who have high insurance deductibles to meet or ever rising co-pays, both of which essentially force you to pay for most of your chiropractic visits anyway. Our fee for a full spine adjustment: $30.00 Regular patient $25.00 Senior patient $25.00 Children with a parent's visit

Location

We are located at 10th and Kansas Avenue on block North of Whartons and two blocks East of Burtis Motor on Kansas Ave. We have a convenient patient only parking lot.

Amenities

Gonstead technique, Diversified technique, Thompson table drop technique, T.T.A.P.S technique. For those not wanting traditional manual spinal adjustments, a low-force mechanical technique is also available. Training has also been received in STAR, ART and other Myofascial trigger point type work for muscle and ligament treatment.
