I have visited this facility twice, both on the weekend. I understand that it is a first come first serve hospital for emergencies. My cat with kidney disease developed a UTI on two occasions. The first time I visited, we waited over 3 hours to see a technician. My cat sat in her carrier, in urine during that time because they had nothing to help me clean it with. She was then given a convenia injection, which is an antibiotic. I had not heard of it before, but it is not to be used with cats who have kidney disease. I didn't know this. The second visit was for a UTI. This time we waited over two hours to see a technician, who was very rude. The veterinarian did not see my cat for another 25 minutes. Dr. Jody Novak, was her name. She explained that the "labs had gone out and there is no point in getting any blood or urine", as it would not go out until Monday. She then left me to take a telephone call for another 15 minutes. I was charged $95 and sent home.

Had to bring a hit and run dog late one night sadly they were very busy but they saw me ASAP!! Sadly the dog didnt make it but they did everything they could and felt horrible that he passed away. Highly recommend this place over Capital District emergency animal clinic.. that's a whole another story...
I brought in my dying dog after he had been hit by a car. Very simply, they saved his life.
After being referred to this clinic by my vet due to an after hours emergency I am sad to say that we had the worst experience bringing our cat to this clinic. We were not promptly attended to and waited 1 hour to see a vet when our cat had a 3? long wound with exposed flesh. Then a very inexperienced Dr. Ryan entered the room and was less than helpful. The end result is that we left without getting assistance since Dr. Ryan said ?your cat?s not going to die? and we felt very uncomfortable with her possible care to our cat.
