For months I looked for a trainer that would help me with my dog Murphy with anxiety. No one was willing to help train my dog and teach me how to help manage his fears until I found Lou Orth. He was very honest with me and explained everything in detail, stressing that Murphy's training would require a daily commitment on my part. Lou gave me his word that as long as I didn't give up on Murphy's training nor would he. With Lou's training and the proper use of the metal slide collar Murphy's anxiety has greatly improved, he pasted the AKC'S Canine Good Citizen test and is now a service dog in training. Everyone who knew Murphy before he started training is astonished by his improvement and so am I. My gratitude has no bounds, thank you Lou!

The most animal friendly and clean kennel we have ever seen. Lou Orth is a gem. Dusty and Cuddles will not be boarded anywhere else. He spends quality time with the animals and has even e-mailed us pictures of the dogs while they were there. We highly recommend Absecon Kennel !!!!

My husband and I have known Lou Orth, both personally and professionally for over 40 years. His pet boarding business (The Absecon Kennel) is the only place that we feel comfortable leaving our dogs when we travel. Absecon Kennel is a great place to take my dog! My dog loves Lou and the Absecon kennel. Lou really knows my dog and is great with her. Lou is the only person I would trust to watch my dog. My dog gets very excited to go see Lou. .

We have taken our two dogs here multiple times. Last Christmas, my gift to me was to have my dogs trained during their two week stay. I now have AKC registered Good Citizen canines. This place is very clean and the dogs are very well cared for. Lou loves his job, you can tell by the way he cares for your family members. I have been to other kennels in the area before finding this place and will stay here from now on.

Absecon Kennel is my all time favorite kennel to board my 2 dogs Dusty and Cuddles. They are like our children and leaving them with anyone is always a little scarry. Lou Orth, owner and trainer, has our complete confidence in boarding them. His kennels are meticulously clean and never have that "doggie odor". Watching the interactions with him and my dogs is truly a pleasure. He is a real animal lover and seems to go that extra mile when it comes to caring for the dogs. I hate to think of boarding them anywhere else.

This boarding facility is my favorite when going into the Atlantic City area. The kennels are kept immaculate, there is no "kennel odor" and my two dogs jusst love going there. Lou Orth, the owner and trainer is a wonderful man who truly seems dedicated to the safety and welfare of my dogs. Give him a try next time you are traveling in the area.

I would highly recomend this kennel ! I have been boarding my dogs there for 8 years now. I cant imagine going anywhere else. My 2 labs Abby and Daisy love it there. They run for the door. I have seen Lou Orth (Kennel owner) interact with my dogs and they go totally nuts over him. I am confident that they are well cared for...and loved when they board. I can also say i would recommend getting your dog groomed while they stay there... my dogs come home looking and smelling beautiful.

very affordable and clean

Our dogs stayed there for 2 weeks and this is the 4th time using him. Our dogs were comfortable. They are BOTH now registered as AKC GOOD CITIZEN awars for trained dogs. They were trained for 10 days and came back a LOT better. We attend weekly classes for updates on training. Would not even give it a second throught to use him again.
