Founded in 1975, Cottrell is exclusively dedicated to the design, development and manufacturing of auto transport equipment throughout the world. Its engineering, administrative, production and domestic sales facilities are located on a 140-acre site in Gainesville, Ga., 50 miles northeast of Atlanta. The Gainesville production facilities are capable of producing 10 tractor-trailer combinations per day. Although Cottrell has traditionally built its business on serving large domestic fleet orders, in recent years it has modernized its design and manufacturing facilities to meet the needs of both international fleet orders and independent owner/operators. These two groups have overwhelmingly chosen Cottrell as their preferred equipment supplier. As a result, independent owner/operators and international sales account for a substantial portion of Cottrell s business. Cottrell services the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Africa and Australia.
