General Info: Frieda Ansoanuur, MD, earned her medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. She completed her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Subsequently, she completed her fellowship training in pediatric rehabilitation medicine at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.Dr. Ansoanuur joined the faculty of the department of orthopaedics and rehabilitation at the University of Florida in May 2016. Her clinical practice will focus on pediatric rehabilitation and functional issues - specifically, patients with cerebral palsy, tone/spasticity management, adaptive equipment needs, lower and upper extremity bracing, abnormal gait, spina bifida, spinal cord injuries and brain injuries.Dr. Ansoanuur is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.
