General Info
Missouri School for the Deaf, located in Fulton, Mo., is a state-supported school and does not charge tuition. There is no charge for board, room, laundry and books. The parents are required to provide clothing, personal hygiene items, major and chronic medical expenses, pocket money, certain school supplies and miscellaneous items. The school students who live in Fulton or nearby towns come to school and return home on a daily basis. The students who reside in the dormitories are provided round-trip transportation every weekend, with the exception of fall and winter homecoming weekends and other special sporting events. The school provides living quarters and meals for students. Residential advisors supervise children during all nonschool hours. There are three separate school facilities for elementary, middle and high school students. Elementary residential students live in cottages while middle and high school students reside in the dormitories.
