Restaurants in Frisco TX needed The Taste of New Orleans. Jenvevein's offers a wide range of Poboy's, sandwiches and Burgers with a New Orleans Flare. Our world famous roast beef Poboy was 40 years in the making! We use fresh and slow cooked thinly sliced roast beef soaked in our famous homemade gravy. It all began at The White House Seafood Restaurant in New Orleans, owned by the Watson family. In 1977, the Watsons opened a restaurant known today as Bears. They dished out roast beef Poboys dripping with gravy by the hundreds to long lines of people waiting in the sweltering Louisiana sun. To this day it is still considered to be the best Poboy in Louisiana or anywhere else for that matter. Due to the success of the original Bears, three new Bears restaurants were opened in other parts of Louisiana and still thrive today. We partnered with the Watson family to open Jeneveins restaurant in Frisco. In addition to the tried-and-true roast beef recipe, we use the familys marinades, batters for frying, salad dressings, and dipping sauces, as well as many of our own recipes derived from all over Louisiana.
