I spent only $650 after installation. for a transmission on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 4x4.

I'm very happy with the service and the transmission is working great.

I baught in january 2015 a 700r4 transmission off transmission shack in fresno on golden state an railroad off TRAVIS. He said his transmission are fully rebuilt from the factory in which i think is a lie he sold me one with a supposably rebuilt torque converter aswell i paid him $490 an gave me 6 month warranty on it i took it back to him twice. I explained that the transmission was slipping when oil colant was hot an when it was cold it would run fine an that the transmission wouldnt lock up on overdrive I took it to H&J in kerman the dealer ship an they took it down an opened it an told me that the inside was rusted like if it had water from the person that did the trasmission an that the pump was no good that the gears were no good either cus the main shaft was loose an its suppose to be stiff and that the torque converter was no good either an so i had to pay them almost $1,500 to get it rebuilt an fixed again i dont recomend transmission shack they just scam you..

Found them on the internet.

after reading the other reviews on other sires for Transmission Shack, dating back almost 10 years, I gave Transmission Shack a call. The price was the lowest price I've found in Fresno on a Transmission. But like some of the other reviews I've read. The shop is small and not all that impressive But the transmission I bought was of great quailty and worked well. so what can I say other than not just good deal... but a GREAT deal when you consider I spent less than $400 on a transmission that cost over $800 at other places in Fresno. I give 4 stars only because they really need to move their location to a more customer friendly location ( waiting room, water cooler, etc etc. )
