Founded in 1770, Diocese of Fresno offers various programs for Catholic development in the state of California. The diocese includes various seminaries, parishes, schools and other institutions, hospitals and health care organizations, homes for the aged and specialized homes. It operates various social service and assistance organizations serving more than 3,00,000 individuals annually. It operates a 24-hour Catholic broadcasting station, known as KNXT Channel that offers educational programming, world news, documentaries, and arts and entertainment. The diocese is located in Fresno, Calif.
