General Info
Credit Booster initiates an investigation regarding information on your report that could be inaccurate. Our procedure is to review the disputed information within 5 days. We will contact each national credit repository (Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion) with the information that is the subject of your dispute. We have a 4-step process to facilitate dispute investigations so that resolutions are reached. Here's how the process works: Step 1: We identify inaccurate and derogatory information on your most recent credit report from the three Credit Agencies. Step 2: We complete the most convenient method (online, phone or mail) for the three Credit Agencies to initiate a dispute investigation. Step 3: The three Credit Agencies contacts the data provider that reported the information and asks the data provider to verify the information in question. The source might have up to 45 days to verify whether the information is correct. Step 4: The three Credit Agencies documents the outcome of the investigation and makes any necessary changes to your credit report. They notify you of the outcome of your dispute approximately three to five business days after the investigation is complete via mail. They will also notify Credit Booster via e-mail and with viewing the results of the investigation immediately.
