Clovis West High School, located in Fresno, Calif., serves students in grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 2,500 students. The school offers various academic programs, such as fundamental literacy, mathematics, English, language arts, problem solving program, and science and technology. It also has a center for advanced research and technology for providing advanced training in areas of technology. The school has a library providing research resources on English, language arts, access to curriculum Web sites, books on fiction and nonfiction. The school also provides various student services to handle all student problem issue areas, including dress code violations, behavior problems, truancies, defiances and violations of any other California Educational Codes. Additionally, the school provides various sports activities, such as basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and water polo. The school offers counseling services, career selection services and scholarships to students.
