American Union Elementary serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes math, science, social studies and language arts. It is governed by the American Union School District. American Union Elementary coordinates journalism, language development, migrant education, Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), and music and technology enrichment programs. The school also administers a gifted and talented education program. It operates a student council and parents club that hosts and organizes various activities for school welfare. In addition, American Union Elementary offers a variety of sports activities, including flag football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track and field.
