I work for a leading business magazine. In reaching out to this Dean Builders Group to discuss advertising and marketing opportunities, the PERSON that answered the phone was quite rude and crass. Not even the individual in charge, she hung up the phone on me...and she isnt in charge of marketing. When I phoned back, her and answer was and I quote,"If I hung up on you, then OBVIOUSLY we are not interested!"..then slam! While advertising in my Construction Advertising Supplement would benefit their firm more so than the paltry amount they would pay for an ad, they will never know this because of the niceness and sincerity of their little phone person. Be advised, if you call them and dont clearly state you are looking to spend money with them OR, if you are attempting to gain their business and get the most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have had the dis-pleasure in speaking with on the phone, you will be hung up on! Quite ok, I attend enough construction expos; I will see them in the future and let them know what a delightful person they have answering their phones. Until that time, I will speak to enough PRIME contractors in the coming weeks and tell them unless they truly need Deans Builders because of the bidding process, avoid doing business with them...they have NO PERSONAL skills which could lose business in the short and long run.
