Founded in 1965, the WSOS Community Action Commission is a nonprofit agency that provides programs and support services for individuals, families and communities. It offers family, community and work force development services. The agency also offers child care assistance and educational services. WSOS Community Action Commission helps individuals to gain and retain employment. In addition, it provides meal preparation, informational seminar and transportation services for senior citizens. The agency has partnerships with Quilter Sign Shop, Tri-County Health Care Consortium and Sandusky River Watershed Coalition. The agency has more than 300 employees. The WSOS Community Action Commission maintains a location in Fremont, Ohio.
