- The health system encompasses an acute care hospital offering Level II Trauma Center, 24-hour Emergency Care, Childbirth and Family Services, Cancer Genetics Program, Cardiac Surgery, Diabetes Services, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Health Insurance Information Services, Intensive Care, Laboratory, Lymphedema Services, Medical Imaging, Neurology, Occupational Medicine, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pulmonary and Respiratory Care, along with various outpatient facilities. Washington Health facilities include: * The Institute for Joint Restoration and Research * Bell Neuroscience Institute of Silicon Valley * Washington Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine * Washington Outpatient Imaging Center * Washington Outpatient Surgery Center * Washington Outpatient Rehabilitation Center * Washington Women's Center * UCSF-Washington Cancer Center. Washington Health is a designated cardiac and stroke receiving center as well as a level II trauma center for Alameda County. Washington Township Health Care District is governed by a publicly elected board. - Washington Health is an integrated system based in central Fremont, California, located between Interstates 880 and 680. The health system offers complementary self-parking, as well as guest services to help our patients and guests navigate the hospital and other locations in the community. The hospital cafe is open every day of the week and offers a variety of healthy meal options including beverages. Washington Health is committed to meeting the needs and challenges of this diverse and growing community. The emergency room is available to the community 24 hours a day and includes a level II trauma center. The health system serves the residents of Fremont, Newark, Union City, parts of South Hayward and unincorporated Sunol. The district’s population is more than 320,000 and encompasses approximately 124 square miles of Southern Alameda County. As the local health care district, our mission is to meet the health care needs of district residents.
