Warwick Elementary School, located in Fremont, Calif., serves more than 800 students in kindergarten through grade six. Operating for more than 30 years, it is one of the largest elementary schools in the city of Fremont. It has a parent-teacher association that organizes various cultural and academic events and works to foster a cooperative relationship among students, faculty and parents. It also has a school site council that sponsors a homework club, family math night, staff development courses and classroom enrichment materials. The council also oversees a range of programs that help to meet the educational needs of the students, including the English Learner Advisory Committee and gifted and talented education program.
