The restaurant is nice and clean, the servers and staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. The food on the other hand needs work. The southern greens are are okay but not real southern greens, the brisket is tender but lacking flavor, the ribs have an unusual smell and taste, maybe too much smoke or maybe the marinade has something in it that's off. I ran water over the rib to remove the sauce but that taste was still there. The highlight of the whole meal was the potato salad. I purchased the extra side thank God, or I would have been starving. The barbecue sauce that you get, when asked, is honey mustard, hot, and some other flavor. Not what you expect for a barbecue sauce. I got hot, and it tasted like taco sauce. I was truly disappointed.
