The company s modern facilities, located in Fremont, Calif., features over 250,000-square-feet of manufacturing space, housing the latest in machining equipment. In addition to being a General Electric authorized quartz fabricator, Hayward applies its machining expertise to other semiconductor industry materials, such as aluminum oxide, single and polycrystalline silicon, aluminum nitride and sapphire. In addition to Hayward s high-volume production capacity, it also has a complete research and development department that is devoted to supporting semiconductor original equipment manufacturers with technical assistance and providing quick-turn performance for time-sensitive projects.
