Both my kids have been under Dr. Puri’s care, my son since he was 15 months. Now, he is 18 years; and my daughter since she was born until now. She is now 15 years.

I have taken the appointment for my kid and paid for it.He got TB shot, after 2days checkup, little bit shot area got swallowed, it's under measurable limits . Then they asked me take one more appointment for that, doctor has taken for 1mint and they have given some forms for Blood Test, X-Ray, Gold Test etc. For that also they forced me to pay. I was trying to explain, they said, you want school form or not. I went through all the process and spent lot of time. Nobody called me till 3 weeks and one fine day I called them asked for the update, they said. It’s normal and no TB. I felt very bad about the process and money they charged me and also charged my insurance each time.

Dr. Puri has been really helpful and has helped us with several digestive issues that my son had in his first days. She is a great doctor and I would highly recommend her. It is such a relief to have her as one of my son’s pediatricians. My son is doing great in her care.

I've had a great time working with Dr. Puri and her staff. Excellent people with the best service any family can hope for. Highly, highly recommending Dr. Puri and her staff.

I am updating to reflect the 5 stars! Still going to Dr. Puri. She has been so accomodating always. I appreciate having her close by. She deserves 5 stars for being on it and always taking the time to explain things to us. Even potty training, eating issues, regression concerns. I recommend Dr. Puri to everyone. My daughter is just about 2 years old and she had the same pediatrician since she was born, but we moved and yelp helped us pick Dr. Veena Puri for her. It was nerve wracking to think we needed to trust someone else with her. Since the first day I took her, which was in November 2012 we knew we would be in good hands. The doctor and her staff were able to identify immunizations that were missed by her prior clinic and the staff. She spoke clearly about any concerns, feeding issues, and her growth. My daughter is in perfect health and we are happy that we can communicate via email and with the fact that even if we take my daughter to the ER, the doctor will come to see her asap. Although I am knocking on wood that this wont ever happen! They have taken us immediately even right before a holiday before and that made me feel more confident in our choice.

This place has its ups and downs. However I am giving it 5 stars because I know in case of emergency with sick kids, Dr. Puri and her team rides the stress care with me. They do a fabulous job of calming me down and telling me what next steps are, what to look for and there is always a personal call follow up if they are closed.
The throat swipes not so much and I am on the verge of questioning why its always done.
Improvements: I sometimes feel it would be good to get a bit of advice on the phone and not have to come in all the time and pay for a visit.

Dr, Puri has been my kids pedia for over 6 years and I love that she tries her best to recommend preventative care vs. prescribing medications. She is a no-non sense Dr. who can look at you and the kid and know what is going on.
Dr. Sharma is my lil son's favorite. She is funny, informed loves kids and eases them well into the appointment requirements.

We have been going to Dr. Puri for the last 3 years and i must say, my experience with the group (especially Dr. Veena Puri) has been amazing!! I have travelled and stayed across different parts of US and I have not seen such a committed pediatrician. Dr. Puri goes deep to find the root cause of sickness to eliminate / reduce of it appearing again. My child has chronic bronchitis and suffered from respiratory illness every now and then. We were emotionally disturbed as we tried our best to prevent our child from cold and cough (always cover her up, deep cleaning house, changing clothes immediately after she comes back from school and everything else you can think of) but in vain. Dr. Puri analyzed the case and started an year long remedy (still going on) with 'proper' directions to follow to avoid / reduce such chronic illness. We have now started seeing results. It's been 3 months and my child was never as healthy before. She get sick during normal flu season but that is acceptable.

Dr. Puri and her staff have been taking such good care of my kids lately. With asthma issues, she is a real pro and I trust her care for our kids so much. I'm happy to report that we are on a great maintenance regimen, thanks to her. When we've had to be seen on a last minute crunch, they were great about getting us in. I would highly recommend Dr. Puri to become your pediatrician. :-)

I have been taking my kids to Dr. Veena over the past 3 yrs. She is very knowledgeable and best of all she provides solutions/advise for us as parents which are very practical and effective. She is not only our kids doctor, in some respects a doctor for me to :-).

We are so blessed to have Dr. Puri as our child's pediatrician. We feel so comfortable with her. Our child gets better as soon as we enter her door. That's my perception but it is sooo true. Also as we can communicate in our own language thats a plus. We highly recommend her for your child.
