Based in Fremont, Calif., Aemtek Inc. is a microbiology testing and research laboratory. The laboratory specializes in detection and analysis of fungi and bacteria, using morphological, physiological, biochemical, and molecular methods. Additionally, it conducts contract research in a range of subjects, including applied, environmental microbiology and mycology. Aemtek Inc. provides services to multiple industries, such as food, environmental, pharmaceutical and compounding pharmacies, to name a few. The laboratory holds accreditation with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and was awarded Woman-Owned Business of the Year Award 2009.
