      About us Specialties Company was founded in Freeport, Texas in 1967 by Alton Skachok. Since its humble beginnings in a small 800 ft square building on Hwy 332 it has expanded its operation to a 20, 000 square foot, fully equipped with state of the art equipment for all industrial hose and fitting needs. The values of quality, proficiency, and customer satisfaction that he practiced are still followed today by his two daughters and son in law which own and operate the business as of 1998. Through the years they have gained the knowledge base and working relationships with many vendors to help give their customers the right product needed for the job. Specialties Company pledge to fast and efficient customer service is still the top priority.
