The Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of programs for youths between the ages of 6 and 18. It offers programs in the areas of education, health and life skill development and fitness. The organization s fitness program includes a variety of activities, such as basketball, swimming, flag football and soccer. It offers SMART Moves, SMART Girls, Passport to Manhood and Street SMART programs. The organization also provides tutoring and homework assistance services through its Power Hour program. It conducts arts, dance and photography classes. The organization also offers connections, which is a licensed after-school child care program. The Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County is a part of Boys and Girls Clubs of America, which is a national network of more than 3,500 neighborhood-based facilities. The Boys & Girls Club of Brazoria County maintains a presence in Freeport, Texas.
