General Info: Prime Surgicare: Bariatric, Hernia & Gallbladder Surgery in NJ Dr. Seun Sowemimo, medical director, Prime Surgicare, is a New Jersey board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon. He performs bariatric weight loss surgery and minimally-invasive GI operations, including hernia repair, gallbladder and colon surgery. During the pandemic, most pre- and post-op office visits are conducted via telehealth (virtual office visit), but some patients are also seen in our Freehold or Jackson offices, as appropriate. Hospital inpatient and outpatient office visits stringently follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and New Jersey Department of Health COVID-19 precautionary measures to protect patients and staff.
