When they opened their restaurant, I was worried I would be disappointed. However, I was not. I tried my favorite dish Tallarin Verde con Bisteck and I also tried my other favorites Papa Rellena and Lomo Saltado. I was not disappointed at all with any of these dishes. It was delicious. Next is to bring my boyfriend in, who is the whitest white boy I know :p, to try his favorite dish Arroz Chaufa de Pollo. Thanks to me, he loves Peruvian food, and I hope he loves this place too. The only thing I didnt like was that they were open Wednesday to Sunday. However, that is not going to stop me from going back. If you're in Freehold and want to try something delicious yet something from another world, definately try Don Pepe's.

This place is amazing! I am a HUGE fan of Peruvian food. It's BYOB, which is pretty awesome. The food is authentic and delicious. And I can this because I am peruvian and lived in Chatham pretty much my whole life and used to drive to Paterson, NJ to get good peruvian food. This place is legit. If your not sure what to order, the ceviche is awesome, the green spaghetti with steak is ridiculous, and my favorite the rotisserie chicken with chicken fried rice is BANANAS! You won't be disappointed... I promise! So happy this place is in Freehold. Grab a bottle of wine and enjoy! I know I will.
