The women here were so helpful and honestly good people. It was a family business and you could tell they wanted each costumer to find their dream dress. I found my prom dress here today and I loved the entire experience. The staff were so funny and they made the whole experience enjoyable :)

This store was not for me. The sales people are aggressive and rude and swarm on top of you the minute they sense something going awry with the sale. They do not validate any concerns the customer may have instead they have four people attack from different directions and pull and poke and tuck and no this is good you're good it's all good you until you just agree . Well I did and that was my mistake . I was going through a tough time too busy and just didn't know what the next day was going to bring so I felt like this was the only day left to get a dress and the only reason I put up with the unprofessionalism. Beware of letting your prom girl in the fitting room alone as they will squeeze her into whatever dress she likes regardless of size because they only sell what's in the store it seems and will not order the next size up . Because everyone gets involved to pressure you to buy and add on straps or corsets or alterations the owner came over and insisted the dress needed to be altered because of a gap under the arm when the arms are Raised . They did the alterations she tried it on and we were rushed out of the store. After buying shoes we go to try the dress on with them a few days before the event and the zipper is spread about six inches apart and I can't zipper it and the hook and eye burst off the dress and across the room. Went back to the store with the dress and my concerns and again was met with the opposition to all my concerns and they got her in the dress using two people and when I said had I known it took two of you to get the dress on her I would have gone up a size and was told that's not unusual and it's there policy that every dress be zippered by two people. The hook and eye no big deal we will reinforce it . As far as my daughter not being able to breathe , well when does she get her period ? That has a lot to do with it and it should be snug and how long are you going to be wearing it anyway. The satin dress was shredding away from the zipper because the dress was altered too tight and that was okay with them too because it's under the tulle and it's a very delicate fabric. This went on and on they refused to accept my dissatisfaction and made me feel like I was wrong and I will never step foot in this store again and I will warm all prospective buyers of what they are in for. After speaking to dozens of other moms who had similar stories or worse it seems that this is a common experience at this establishment . Be cautious before you purchase and be involved in the dressing room not waiting outside where they like to keep you.

The experience of buying a prom dress for my daughter should have been a memorable, wonderful mother -daughter experience but instead I left with a disgusting feeling in my soul. How dare a team of mother and daughters destroy and bully an innocent teenager to buy their dress. They can't except no for an answer. I'm glad my daughter stood up for herself we you both bullied her when I wasn't around. We were interrogated as if we were wrong in not purchasing from them. You are both rude and horrible business people. You should both consider going to college for business and customer service.Never mind it will not change your persona. Ciao- never again.

Came here after AWEFUL service from Castle Couture we were greeted by our sales girl and was asked what school my daughter goes to so they make sure she doesn't have the same dress as someone else! Also asked us what specifics we were looking for and a price point not to go over. THE FIRST DRESS MY DAUGHTER TRIED ON SHE LOVED , i was so happy i could have cried! My daughter tried on a few more because our sales girl insisted on trying a couple that were also beautiful but we ended up going back to the first one!!! A HUGE thank you to our sales girl in finding my daughter a perfect dress for Prom and making our shopping experience a wonderful and fun time. I would never recommend going to Castle Couture because clearly, you do not need a castle to feel like a princess.

This store may be beautiful on the inside, but their rude and inconsiderate sales team make me think nothing but ugly things about them! Went with my daughter to find a prom dress and they did not help us at all... was told to look through the racks ourselves. Found a few dresses and our sales consultant was so pushy in making us purchase one of the gowns that my daughter was not too sure on. Needless to say, we left. Drove further down Rt. 9 and stopped at Diane & Co. This store may appear small from the outside but ITS BEAUTIFUL on the inside! Was greeted instantly and was told to sign in and we would have our own personal sales girl help us in finding a perfect dress. This store is filled with gorgeous dresses everywhere you turn, although we waited a while, THIS STORE IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT. If you want to look threw racks this is not the place. You have to wait to be helped but the service was worth the wait. Didn't lift a finger and didn't fight with my teenager. Overall-SUCCESS

Debated on going here but wanted to judge for myself after reading reviews. I actually simply asked Diane what happened with all the negative controversy. After all- I was curious. She explained her side and it worked for me. I was treated with superior customer service and left with both a long gown and cocktail dress for my daughters prom. I went to both Castle Couture and Dream dresses before Diane & Co. Neither provided customer service. That's what made my decision to buy there worth it for me. They have a well oiled machine and work until they find each girls the best gown! Highly recommend

Just got two exquisite Prom gowns for two teenagers in less than an hour... don't let the store-front fool you... most professional staff and beautiful store! Friendly and classy with a hi-end atmosphere with reasonable prices and fantastic selection! Very organized set-up so you save time. I had a fun time too!

i recently bought a beautiful dress for my son's wedding ? I could not have been more pleased with the service and choices I had. My salesperson was very honest about how the dresses looked and I really appreciated her guidance. There was never any pressure. I just chose several dresses and came back a few days later to make a final decision . My overall experience at Diane's was excellent.

I have never shopped there and due their treatment of this poor girl who get her prom dress there. Sorry boyfriend killed in crash and dress never worn should excuse any return policies and help the girl out. That is what is wrong with today people dont care anymore. But best believe I will NEVER shop there and I have informed my family the same. Our little 20+ sized family wont break them but word of mouth will....From Tennessee to Jersey bye bye Diane's you just lost another one

These ladies really know how to treat a women & the needs of a women.I would definitely continue to do business with them & to refer them to any lady who needs an evening to a formal wear..ie. wedding,banquet & so forth.
