I took a stray cat in to have her spayed, was quoted a price that seemed fair, then they told me they needed to keep her for a couple days, and charged me way more than the agreed upon amount. I asked the lady if there was anything she could do to help reduce the bill to the amount I was quoted, because I couldn't afford the new amount, she walked away, then came back and said no. Very unprofessional

I've been going to this clinic since I moved to the area 15 years ago. They have provided excellent care for many of my animals including livestock (they make house calls for a small additional fee). They have also done a yearly event for many years now where they offer steeply discounted shots for your dog(s), I believe it is held at the Fredericktown livestock auction.

They really go above and beyond, and genuinely care about the well being of your animals. I highly recommend them, and even have family that drive down from St.Louis to use this vet.

P.S. Kudos to them for maintaing low prices, for many years they were the only vet in town, and never took advantage of their position to fleece people.
