I bought a dishwasher and a refrigerator. They failed to bring my dishwasher 3 times! I called out of work each time and couldn't get anyone on the phone. The delivery and installment staff is lazy and incompetent. I went to pick up my refrigerator (instead of delivery) and they made me wait 45 minutes. The staff would rather flirt with customers and ignore us then actually do their job. Don't buy with them unless you have weeks to wait for your stuff! Please note, this is my experience with the delivery and install department.

I had Lowes install laminate flooring several months ago. There were many problems, the worst of which were that the boards on the stairs kept loosening and nearly causing us to fall. Each time they would send someone to re-glue it. Then sometimes the same boards on the steps would loosen or completely come off again. They finally re-did nearly all the steps securely. They left hammer marks along the sides of the stairs where they removed the old portion of each step, causing each step to be shorter and less comfortable/safe to walk on. The floor pieces began to separate and have gaps. They sent a rep from the manufacturer to look at it. He agreed that it was an installation problem but Lowes reported to us that all they could do is glue it. There were also gaps under doorframes and walls to which they offered no solution. Lowes got their money and that seems to be all they will honor. Lowes did NOT honor their promise of "100% satisfaction guaranteed" - hardwood/laminate flooring.
