Fru-Con Construction Corporation is the fifth-oldest construction company in the United States. The company provides construction, engineering and maintenance services to the transportation, environmental and industrial process markets, as well as power and government facilities. Its services include engineering, construction management, general contracting, maintenance, procurement, start-up, operations support and commissioning. Industrial projects the company has worked on include a Gulf Coast specialty chemical plant, Texas Power Plant and a Procter & Gamble tissue and towel manufacturing plant. Civil projects include the Maumee Bridge, Marmet Lock & Dam and Illinois Waterway. Headquartered in St. Louis, Fru-Con is a subsidiary of Bilfinger Berger AG of Mannheim, Germany.
