i had the unfortunate experience of using angel ride yesterday to transport an elderly friend to a dr.'s appt. the driver, mathew, kept complaining about the amount of time it was taking for the dr. to see her and kept saying that it was 'messing him up'. when we came out from seeing the dr. he had left without saying anything to anyone. the dr.' office and the nursing home spent over an hour contacting the company to get another driver dispatched and when they showed up it was not a wheelcahir accessible van. the excuse we got was that the first van broke down, but i know better. why did he leave in the first place. he was hired for our trip and he should have stayed there until we were done. they also tried to charge us an extra $100 for the trip. that is outrageous as we were already paying $200 to begin with. use caution with this company. they are not reliable.
