- Pediatric CareWe firmly believe in the effectiveness and safety of our vaccines to prevent serious illness and to save lives. We believe that all children and young adults should receive all of the recommended vac-cines according to the schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
- Primary CareAfter Hours Charge - Evenings (after 6pm), Weekends and Holidays The Pediatric Center doctors and nurse practitioners are in the office evenings, weekends and holidays to take care of your children. Effective Oct 2010, Maryland State legislation (HB435) requires many insurers to pay an additional fee to primary care physicians who see patients
- Ear InfectionsColds, upper respiratory infections, and URIs are common terms we use to describe viral illnesses that cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever, and cough. The fever usually lasts for 2-3 days, and the cough with congestion and runny nose may last for 5-10 days. The typical preschool-age child may experience 6-10 colds per year. Most colds resolve on their own with rest and fluids, but some may lead to ear infection, sinus infection, asthma attack, or other complications. If you are concerned about the possibility of one of these complications, please have your child seen in our office for an evaluation.

- Labor and DeliveryDuring your first visit, the lactation consultant will ask to review the history of your pregnancy, labor and delivery, and medical history. The lactation consultant will conduct a brief exam of you and your baby and will ask you to breastfeed while the consultant observes. During this process the consultant may help you with positioning and getting your baby to latch. The lactation consultant will also help you to recognize the signs of a good feeding.
- Urinary Tract Infection
- AutismWe believe that vaccinating children and young adults may be the single most important health promoting intervention we perform as health care providers, and that you can perform as parents or caregivers. We firmly believe, based on all available literature, evidence and current studies, that vaccines do not cause autism or other developmental disabilities.
