Common diseases that are treated include Age-related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Tears, Retinal Detachments, Epiretinal membranes, and Macular holes. Greater Potomac Retina is accepting new patients and is able to accommodate consultations in a timely manner. Dr. Patel is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Patel completed Fellowship training at the University of Iowa, one of the nation's leading ophthalmic institutions. * Trained from the Top Ophthalmic Institutions in the Country; and * Involved in patient care, innovative clinical trial research and medical writing.

      GREAT START!

      Dr. Patel is a fantastic consultant who has really turned out the best for his patients. Beautiful new office and easy to reach with no parking problems. Great facility and of course the efficient and kind service he has always offered.

      Great Retina Specialist

      Dr. Patel has a new facility with high-tech equipment. The staff and Dr. Patel took really great care of my mother and her vision problems.
