We have 3 dogs, a Boxer, a German Shepherd and a Brussels Griffon. We live in So. Phila, but travel to Halo House because we are more than happy with them. The runs are large and I LOVE that they are indoor/outdoor runs, and all three can stay in a large suite and remain together. They come home clean and happy. When they see me packing their food for a stay, they are so excited and can't wait to get there!!! Would highly recommend Halo House and have done so.

Traumatizing experience at the halo house. Picked up my dogs after boarding for one week. They were not only skinny, but covered in their own waste. I booked a bath and nail trimming. They obviously did not get to it, or get to feeding them either. If you love your animals even a little bit, don't bring them here.

I would not recommend taking your dog here. I brought my 9 month old German shepherd here and they treated him like a viscous dog. They didn't follow any instructions I had left for him. They told me my dog was mean and aggressive during group play but has gone to other day cares and had no issues. The girl that took him back when I dropped him off acted like she was terrified of him and I feel like she wanted an escape from dealing with him.

I do not normal take the time to write reviews but I just couldn't let this review go. This maybe long but it's important to read! I had been taking my mini Schnauzer, Precious, for grooming to Pet Smart in Mantua, NJ. First off let me make it clear that Precious is my 24/7 companion, I am disabled and this dog is "EVERYTHING!" to me! I had been taking her to Pet Smart since she was 6 mos old and now she is 6 yrs old. As time when on she started getting very upset about getting groomed, then she got to the point where she refused to go into the store. I had to carry her to grooming salon, she would shake so BAD, she would like foam at the mouth and CRY so much! I had to stop taking her and make my husband take her! Then I started looking for somewhere else to go and divine intervention lead me to Halo House! They have 2 locations now, Franklinville is main location and Deptford is their new one. They invited me to come check everything out before I made any decision. So I set up the visit and also an appointment too. Once I was there for 5 mins I knew I had found a new grooming salon! These people are the nicest, friendliest, caring, kind, hard working, patient and animal loving people I have ever met! NO cages in the back room, just little white picket fenced areas with beds and toys! Well needless to say I let them groom my Precious and she looked GREAT! More IMPORTANTLY she was HAPPY! NO crying, NO freaking out, NOTHING! In fact she wasn't even in a hurry to leave! On your 1st visit you get 50% off, that was nice! But none of this was about the money it was about Precious and her comfort! Just yesterday I took her for her 2nd grooming appt and I figured this will be a true indicator if she really was happier. Well we got there and she went in like a champ, she was the only dog there so I let her of her lease and she wondered around, tail wagging and NO shaking! I turned around to leave and she was fine, she REALLY does like this place! And SO DO I! When I went to pick her up, she was sleeping on the little bed, I mentioned that I was afraid to go in Lowes because I might miss the call to pick her up & this wonderful women Gail offered to let Precious stay while I ran to Lowes. I didn't take her up on her offer but that is what kind of people these people are! And for Xmas they gave me a clear ornament with Precious's hair in it! I actually teared up! Please if you LOVE your pet try Halo House for grooming or boarding! It's the ONLY place I would board my Precious! It should be the ONLY place you TRUST TOO!

Halo House places the care and comfort of the animals first. All staff is very knowledgable and genuinely likes to work with pets. The facility is clean and well maintained. I would gladly reccommend Halo House to anyone.

Great place.I couldnt have asked for more!!!! my animals didnt spend all day in a cage.they were taken out for treats,playtime in a huge yard and even a walk.I highly recommend halohouse

I had visited many kennels in the area and was not happy with a place that looked like a prison for dogs, nor did i want a facility that uses a common potty room and has no indoor/outdoor facilities for my baby. I have a very spoiled yorkie and have not traveled for a long time because i don't want to leave my dog anywhere. I had a friend who had a pet sitter and the lady took the dog for a walk and was killed by a rottweiler. So to say the least i wanted a safe, home type environment away from home. I have used this facility twice and both times i put him in a suite with a television and a rug and both times he came home happy and smelling not like a kennel. I was very happy and so was he. I would recommend this place to anyone. I love the snack attack package and the movies on the televisions is cute! Looking forward to coming back in the fall! Thanks

I have a wonderful maltese named maddie . She is a wonderful dog but needs special attention. I had terrible worries that nobody would be able to care for her like I do. For one, i was worried that she would come home smelly and nasty since she has long hair . I liked the idea of the different packages and the different things offered for her to enjoy her stay more. She came home smelling great and very happy and couldn't ask for more. If my maddie comes home as well as when i left her you can't imagine how happy I was and feel better that their is a place that I can now leave her and enjoy a little more trip time for myself. Thank you ! You can't imagine how much maddie means to me and how happy she was! You'll be seeing more of us! Thanks

I own a dog called a fila brasilero. Which is a very tuff dog to deal with if you don't know the breed. I admit tiny is great at home but can be a devil to deal with, and I was very nervous about leaving her with anybody, but at the time i didn't have a choice. I left tiny with halo house for six days and was very happy to say that they handled her terrificaly and they were even able to get her out of her run without any problems. I was impressed! She came home clean, a little tired but very happy. Thanks guys!!!!!!!

Believe me i'm not one to write or say anything about any business, but i do want to let you know that this is the first time that my dog has had a great experience with a boarding facility. I've tried a pet sitter and was unhappy, i've been to a big chain kennel and was very dissatisfied on how my dog was kept. I think finally found the best facility in the area. I came home a day early to pick up bruizer and asked to see where he was kept. I was so happy to see he had something comfortable to lay on and had his own television. It was so nice. Thanks guys i will definetly be back!!!

Service was great! I have an older mastiff that needs special care and and needs an orthopedic bed and some TLC. This dog is my whole world and I really wanted someplace special to keep him, and wanted to feel comfortable that I had made the right choice. I"m glad i did. He came home happy and in great shape. I left my four month old goldendoodle with Halo House and She came home so happy. I could tell by how she acted she had a great time! The staff really seemed to care about her and I love the packages they offered to spoil her rotten.

Went to Halo House for the first time and was extremely happy with the different services they offer for my pet. I purchased a senior package for my 12 year old dog and was nervous about leaving my boy with anyone. After this visit my dog came home happy and in better shape then when i left him. I would highly recommend this facility to any one wanting the best for their dog. It may be a little more then most places but i want the options of snacks and special beds among other things, like i would do at home for my boy.

I took my two dogs there and was impressed with the caring staff and I loved the idea of the suites with the tv's and rugs. My dogs came home smelling good and happy. that's what counts! thanks guys i'll use you again

Best Place i ever took my dogs to. As close to home experience that i could find for my babies. They came home happy and clean. Can't ask for better.One thing, i saw a couple in the parking lot talking about how they got over on halo house by stealing something and making out three ways. Not sure what it meant but it looked kinda devious to me. I can't speak enough about the people there. Keep up the great work

Not only do my two dogs stay there every year, they also get groomed there for the summer. When I am on vacation, I don't have to worry about the dogs. They are in good hands. I think it is a vacation for the dogs also.

I've used them for my three dogs and would highly recommend their services. My dogs had a double suite , which had it's own television and a rug. The room for my dogs looked like my spare room at home. They also give you a lot of extras that you can pick from to make their stay more enjoyable. To say the least, my babies were exhausted when they got home and for the first time, my dogs went home from a kennel happy and smelling great! I definitely would recommend this establishment. When my dogs can go to a kennel and come home just as happy as when i left them and not smelling like dirty dog. I definitely would recommend them!

I'm a big fan of Halo House and would recommend this place above all others. while away I had a friend drop by unannounced and to her amazement my puppy was playing in the large yard in the back, or in the kitchen with the girls having a treat.The employees did a exceedingly well, and I will return.
