Liberty Elementary School is one of the elementary schools of the Franklin Special School District. The school is located in Franklin, Tenn., and offers its services for students in prekindergarten through grade four. It was founded in 1986 and has an enrollment of more than 420 students. The school also is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The subjects offered include English as second language, language arts, reading skills, spelling and vocabulary, mathematics and number reasoning, science, social studies, history, geography, music, foreign language and health and physical education. The school s campus also houses a library and media center, computer laboratory and music and arts rooms. In addition, Liberty Elementary School provides various events that include skating, Veteran s Day Parade, cowboy sing and dance and book fair.
