The Pillaged Village started as a fun side line for the owner who worked as a Chemical Engineer. When she was out on maternity leave with her daughter the business grew so large that she had to hire an employee to help. One employee turned into two, the business grew too large to stay in her house and her daughter is now looking at colleges. The Pillaged Village is much more fun than engineering! The Pillaged Village is dedicated to being a fun place to work and to shop. We have nice things to make your reenactment hobby more enjoyable, or to use as a unique gift. We specialize in finding the unusual, the interesting and pleasing items to make you smile. We specialize in providing all the items necessary for Medieval, Renaissance and Historical Reenactment. We also have a wide variety of unique gift items. We carry an impressive variety of thin fabric trims, buttons, clasps and other trimmings which may be used in sewing, crafts and quilting. Many of the trims are our own custom produced designs. We sell these items wholesale as well as retail. We have a wide variety of costume accessories including shoes, boots, ready made costumes, fabrics, patterns, pouches, hats, snoods, veils, jewelry, etc. Our weapon selection is to die for. We have a nice selection of home and castle decor, from table-top and kitchenware items to wall hangings and tapestries. The Pillaged Village sells books, t-shirts, boxes, toys and lots of misc. items. The Pillaged Village will be adding imprinting in the fall of 2011. Then we will be able to customize your t-shirts, coffee mugs, license plate frame, ceramic tiles or other item using state of the art imaging techniques and totally cool graphics. Come check us out!
