Founded in 1947, Harrison Construction Company is a building contractor that provides site work, road excavation and underground utility installation services for private, residential and commercial clients. Its concrete division provides concrete flatwork and curb and gutter construction solutions, as well as maintains more than 10 ready-mix concrete plants and over 100 concrete trucks. The company also maintains nearly 20 asphalt plants and several aggregate quarries, sand units and marble yards in eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina. It offers asphalt paving services for highways, streets, driveways, parking lots and bicycle paths development. Some of the company s ready-mix concrete projects include the Hardin Valley Academy, Knoxville Skatepark, Standard Aero and Sequoyah Gardens. Additionally, it complies with the safety standards of the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA).
