David Spivey is by far the worst attorney that has ever practiced law in NC!!! He is fast to take your money, but very slow to do his job, if at all. I fired David Spivey from a divorce case for not doing anything i ask of him. After six months he had never ask for any discovery information from the opposing side, but expected me to go into medations without any information from the opposing side. He was qiuck to cash a retainer check even before our first meeting. His office clerk is very arogant and opitionated and will never send you an itemized account of their billing. And don't expect any returned phone calls, as David Spivey rarely communicates with his clients. And he will NEVER refund any money. So remember that whatever money you give him is GONE forever. I guess that is why they will not itemize their bills. I strongly advise anyone considering using this attorney to run as fast as you can away form this firm!!!!!
