Established in 1978, Hospice of the Bluegrass provides hospice and palliative care to more than 800 terminally ill patients and their families. It is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is a Medicare- and Medicaid-certified firm. The firm employs home health care aides who offer personal care assistance with grooming, bathing and dressing.
