Customer Service leaves much to be desired. I bought two modems for DSL (Netgear 7550) a little over a year ago and used one and put the other away for later use. I had a need for it last night and when I opened the box it was actually a different model. Technical support said it was for Uverse. I tried to return it today along with the receipt which clearly stated two Netgear 7550's were purchased. Because it was more than a year later they would not let me return or even offer a discount on a 7550. The manager as much as called me a liar to my face and said they never sold those modems at that store. Did he really believe a 62 year old woman was trying to cheat them out of $100. I think their management training needs to include the "customer" is always right model and at least show some compromise as the store gave me the wrong product. Granted I should have checked sooner, but the mgr and employee were absolute condescending jerks. Been a long time customer until now.
