E. F. Rittmueller Middle School enrolls more than 330 students in grades five through eight. It conducts classes on various subjects, including math, science, music, language arts, reading and social studies. E. F. Rittmueller Middle School offers various extracurricular activities, including basketball, volleyball, wrestling and track. In addition, it employs a staff of teachers, secretaries, instructional aides, custodians and lunch hour supervisors. E. F. Rittmueller Middle School is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and has received Summary Accreditation from the State of Michigan. Additionally, it provides a media center that houses over 5,000 titles in print, nearly 50 videos, an electronic card catalog with various look-up stations and several Accelerated Reader testing programs. E. F. Rittmueller Middle School is a part of the Frankenmuth School District and is located in Frankenmuth, Mich.
