Dr. Beitner has been my son's psychologist for years. My son was addicted to high dosage prescribed stimulants, he patiently listened and acknowledged, my son took his advice and quit it. It was not an easy thing for an addict to do, we appreciate Dr. Beitner's wide knowledge and good communication skills to help and save my son.

the best way to portray my review as.. non-biased, i'd like to start off by saying that this psychotherapist is certainly NOT for everyone. from what i hear, when you're looking for the right psychotherapist, its recommended that you find one that you are comfortable with. on the first few visits, rather than having himself familiarize me with how each session will go through out, i felt like it was left up to me to make the atmosphere. he really knows his psychology in terms of books and text extremely well but he doesnt seem to give off that feeling of... sympathy or personal understanding... very cold i could say. he approaches his patient in such a professional and rigid manner which i dont believe is the most useful way to open up a patient. i came to him having self confidence issues to work out for quite a few sessions, (which is mainly why i say that he is not for everyone) and honestly i saw no progress what so ever walking out of each session. its unfortunate that they dont have a website that has reviews for every psychotherapist and that many dont have the consideration to give out word that may help future seeking patients. i had about 6-7 sessions with him. each session was an hour long so you would even feel rushed to get everything out of your mind. i hope that this helps a lot of those who may be somewhat mislead by his 4 star reviews. i want to prevent those who may make the same mistake as me and waste their good money. rather than 1 star, i give him 2 stars for his ability of knowledge and explanation.

Dr. Beitner helped me overcome my anxiety disorder with his extensive knowledge and advice in that area. He also gave me a session of hynotherapy, and I was able to listen to the CD when I got home, any time I needed to. I would highly recommend Dr. Beitner in choosing a psychotherapist. He also helps in relationship counseling as well.

My 10 year-old son was suffering from severe separation anxiety brought on by two very traumatic events. Dr. Beitner pretty much completely cured him with 4 sessions and 1 hypnotherapy session. AMAZING. Very highly recommended.
